How Do You View: How do I see the Holy Spirit?
Robert’s message reminded us that the Spirit of God has always brought life out of chaos, purpose out of uncertainty, and power into ordinary people. From creation (Genesis 1:2–3) to the early church (Acts 1:8), Scripture shows us that God delights in empowering His people for His mission. Yesterday, we saw that truth alive before our eyes.
Throughout the week, Robert challenged us to remember that the Holy Spirit empowers us to become the people God created us to be—to walk in love, surrender, courage, and purpose. Yesterday felt like a glimpse of that promise.
The Spirit was present in the worship.
The Spirit was present in the service.
The Spirit was present in the leadership of our young people.
This week, make space each day to intentionally walk with the Holy Spirit.
Each morning, begin with this simple prayer:
“Holy Spirit, guide me today. Help me love God, love others, and faithfully walk in Your purpose.”
Then commit to these three practices:
1. Pause and Listen (5 Minutes Daily)
Set aside five quiet minutes each day to ask:
“Holy Spirit, what are You trying to show me, correct in me, or encourage in me today?”
2. Step Into Service (At Least One Act This Week)
Like our youth modeled for us on Sunday, intentionally use one of your gifts to bless someone else—encourage a person, serve quietly, pray with someone, help a neighbor, mentor a younger person, or meet a practical need.
Ask yourself:
“How can God use me this week?”
3. Encourage the Next Generation
Reach out to one young person (child, teen, young adult, grandchild, student, or someone at church) and intentionally encourage them in their faith, gifts, or future.
A simple word of encouragement may be exactly what God uses to strengthen someone’s walk.
At the end of each day, reflect on this question:
“Where did I see the Holy Spirit at work today—in me, around me, or through me?”
Key Verse:
“Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” — Galatians 5:25
