Pastor John reminds us that love for Jesus is not just something we feel—it is something we live. A love that is real will always lead to obedience, not out of obligation, but out of a deep desire to honor Him.

But Jesus does not leave us to figure this out on our own. He promised “another Advocate”—the Holy Spirit—one of the same kind as Himself, fully God, who comes alongside us to strengthen, guide, and encourage us in every moment.

Even more, we were reminded of this powerful truth: God is not just with us…He is in us. Through the Holy Spirit, His presence now dwells within us, making our lives the very place where God resides.

And from that presence flows a peace the world cannot give—a settled assurance that we are not alone, not abandoned, and not without help.

As we step into this week, may we live aware of His presence, rely on His strength, and walk in obedience that flows from love.

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.  John 14:26
