Yesterday, we continued our Immerse: KINGDOMS journey through Judges and confronted The Crisis of Compromise.

Judges shows us that spiritual drift rarely happens all at once. Israel’s unfinished obedience gradually became compromise, and compromise eventually became a cycle—sin, oppression, repentance, deliverance, and peace, only to begin again. Yet through every cycle, God continued calling His people back.

Their story invites us to examine our own lives. What have we allowed to remain that is slowly competing with our trust in God?

The answer is not simply to try harder. It is to return to grace and fix our eyes on King Jesus. Judges reminds us that no human deliverer can ultimately rescue God’s people. We need a King who can truly save, restore, and reign.
