Genesis shows a world filled with family drama, deception, and violence—not to glorify it, but to reveal the root: humanity separated from God. Left to ourselves, we create a culture of conflict; but God has always had a rescue plan. The cure to conflict isn’t sharper arguments—it’s deeper communion with God. As we draw near to Him, He reshapes our reactions: quick to listen, slow to speak, resisting evil, and bearing the Spirit’s fruit—love, joy, peace, patience, and self-control (James 1; Gal. 5). Like Jacob, we “wrestle” with God and find blessing—and the strength to pursue reconciliation.
